(2009-12-10) CCFL friendly members meeting

On Thursday 10th December we had our members’ meeting in hotel Narutis, in a friendly and festive atmosphere we enjoyed a great diner offered by our CCFL. We were about 40 persons to attend to this 2009 last meeting. In spide of his very heavy diary we had the honour of his Excellency Mr. François Laumonier Embassador of France who came shortly to congratulate our new board members.

Robertas presented the main lines of our activities during this past year, even if the financial and economical crisis was heavily affecting Lithuania, our CCFL succeed to save on our finance and even welcomed new members.

For the dessert we had a surprise cake, the famous French traditional “Buche de Noël”, the X-mas log, symbol from the old times when families were saving the best log to give more light and warmth around the fireplace to celebrate the x-mas eve.
It was also the opportunity to give to our members the “Privileges” card. This card gives access to benefits granted by listed partners to 27 000 companies’ executives members of this network in 78 countries. Members who did not attend this meeting will receive their card by post mail on the beginning of January.
